Rare Items
Trinkets and Gizmos and Gadgets
Thingamajigs doesn't contain just decorations and their common crafting parts. It also contains some rather rare items as well, ones which may make exploration more worth it.
Note that half of these items require multiple resources that take quite a while to get in survival mode, so prepare to explore before attempting to get any of these items mentioned here.
You'll want to craft a Converter. It is used to get an item you'll need to craft some cool stuff.
The Converter is made with 3 Netherite Ingots on the top, 2 Droppers on the sides of a Sludge Bucket (which is in the middle), and 2 Blaze Rods positioned at the bottom with a gap in-between them.
The first item you'll want is a Golden Apple Shard. How do you get it you ask? Easy. Get a Bucket of Purifying Water. How do you get that? Somewhat of challenge, unless you know where to look.
You'll need Glistering Melons for a start. Not hard enough? Then you'll also need a Golden Apple. Not a regular one, an Enchanted Golden Apple. Combine these in a crafting table with a Bucket and you have a Bucket of Purifying Water. If placed down, if will heal you and saturate you forever and ever.
If used on a Converter block, you'll get a Golden Apple Shard, but lose the liquid in the process.
The shard is inedible and powerless. How do you increase it's power? By obtaining a Thingamajig Glob.
A Thingamajigs Glob is made by melting down a Thingamajig to it's very core. Use a Furnace or Blast Furnace to do so. Once obtained, combine it with the Golden Apple Shard to get a Globized Golden Apple Shard. Now you can craft the next piece of the puzzle. Well, sort of.
To be able to get powerful items, you need to craft a lot of something first. You'll need 2 Globized Golden Apple Shards and a Diamond to craft the next item, a Purifying Nugget.
It's very time consuming and expensive, but well worth the wait. After obtaining 9 of these nuggets (yes, it requires ~18 Globized Golden Apple Shards!), you can craft a Purifying Ingot. Sounds like there's a loop of crafting by multiples here, but there isn't. This is where it ends.
Melt up the ingot you just created to get a Purifying Glob. This thing is quite expensive to hold in your hands. Now do it again, and again, and again...
Once you have 9 of these Purifying Globs, you can craft the ultimate show-off block. The Purifying Block.
This block, when placed under the Converter, will spill out an endless supply of Purifying Water. Worth the cost is it not?
